G.C. Breiger / Tanzania

On a coffee farm in Tanzania, we documented the coffee harvest for G.C. Breiger and photographed the people behind each stage of the process. The photographic reportage reveals the knowledge, time and physical work involved in growing and harvesting coffee. The series connects coffee’s origins with the people whose experience, care and openness shaped our encounters on the farm.
